Ojis started to make electronic music back in 1996 with Fast Tracker 2. After a couple of bad mistakes he decided it's better to let other people to do that job. He lived a few years just partying all around until he bought his first pair of Technics SL-1200 turntables.
When it comes to deejaying, Ojis doesn't mix smoothly or do fancy tricks with the mixer. He concentrates on reading his audience and building up an intimate atmosphere. Mostly Ojis plays music from deep house to Detroit techno and acid.
In 1987 Ipe was just your typical long-haired Trash-metal listening skater and a local teenage hooligan in the west coast of Finland in Rauma. Somehow his musical interests changed totally about a year later. It was probably because of a certain DJ called Tapani Ripatti and his legendary Ocsid-radioshow which got him listening to acid house and disco.
In 1989 Ipe started deejaying and organising school parties. He quickly gained a reputation of being a kind of bold and unconventional DJ who is not afraid of mixing various genres in his sets.
Janne Puurunen, also known as DJ Burdock, was born in 1976. In the late 80's he discovered electronic music and started collecting hip hop records. Very soon after that he was introduced to underground warehouse parties in the Turku area. In 1993 together with a few of his friends he started an organization called The X-Rust Organization, whose main function was to promote underground electronic music. The same organization is still up and running releasing records, arranging parties and giving opportunities to new talent.
