Nitro has been playing records since 1999, when there were mostly hard house/hard trance records spinning on the turntables. During the years 2002–2005 he organized clubs (Trap, Pimiö, Forge, Metro) and “Anchors Up!” summer club cruises in Jyväskylä.
Nowadays he is busy with The X-Rust Organization, which has had their own stage in every Konemetsä festival, for example. Nitro’s current style consists mainly of electro, breakbeat and techno in all of it’s forms.
