Old school
The Egyptian Lover has been bringing you that sound you have enjoyed for over 25 years. Some call it Electro, some call it Hip Hop, some call it Old School, some call it Rap, but he calls it "Dance Music". Egyptian Lover makes music to make you Dance.
He started out as a DJ in 1978-79 and became the headlining DJ for Uncle Jam's Army in 1982. He has been in the music business all his life. His first time in the studio he recorded the "Breakin' & Entering" soundtrack. A true "Electro" recording and the first of its kind.
DJ G!Ova Leoni is a patriot of melodic music that moves both your mind and body. His cross-genre love of electronic dance music started in the mystic spring 1994. Standing on his very own musical heartland you will find Leoni at old school and third renaissance of trance-house music, energetic and adventurous rave, melodic and mellow techno, piano spiced jolly sunny house and above all at italo dance, euro house, techno pop, euro nrg and italo disco produced with high energy and dignity.
In 1987 Ipe was just your typical long-haired Trash-metal listening skater and a local teenage hooligan in the west coast of Finland in Rauma. Somehow his musical interests changed totally about a year later. It was probably because of a certain DJ called Tapani Ripatti and his legendary Ocsid-radioshow which got him listening to acid house and disco.
In 1989 Ipe started deejaying and organising school parties. He quickly gained a reputation of being a kind of bold and unconventional DJ who is not afraid of mixing various genres in his sets.
